When will the next benchmark revision be performed in national accounts?

Benchmark revisions are performed in national accounts about every five years; the next benchmark revision will be performed in August 2011. Within the scope of that revision, the new Classification of Economic Activities, Edition 2008 (WZ 2008), will be introduced in national accounts. Up to then, national accounting results will be published according to the Classification of Economic Activities, Edition 2003 (WZ 2003).
