Basic data of hospital statistics

The basic data on hospitals are part of hospital statistics (apart from diagnosis data and the cost data of the hospitals). The annual survey provides important information on the volume and structure of services offered and on the extent to which hospital services were utilised. Also, data on the material and staff equipment (beds, departments, medical and paramedical staff) as well on patient fluctuation in the hospitals and their organisational units (departments) are collected.
