Short-term surveys in the construction industry

The short-term surveys in the construction industry are used to assess the short-term economic situation of the construction market. They are divided into the areas of main construction industry and finishing trade.

The monthly report in the main construction industry is used for the short-term assessment of the short-term economic situation of the construction market. It is also used, among other things, to calculate the production indices in the construction industry, the investments in construction and the indices of orders received. The survey is conducted among local units with generally 20 or more active persons of the main construction industry. Items covered are active persons, gross wages and salaries, hours worked, turnover and orders received.

The quarterly statistics of orders on hand in the main construction industry is also conducted among local units with generally 20 or more active persons of the main construction industry. It is used for the short-term assessment of the short-term economic situation of the construction market. Items covered are orders on hand by types of construction at the end of the reference quarter.
