The colloquium organised jointly by the Federal Statistical Office and the German Statistical Society will provide a platform for the scientific dialogue between representatives of official statistics and their users who come from the spheres of science, business, politics and administration, and from various associations. The Gerhard Fürst Award for outstanding scientific papers closely related to official statistics will be presented in a ceremony at the close of the first day of the colloquium.

Every year, the Federal Statistical Office and the German Statistical Society personally invite the participants in the colloquium.
