Commitment to the family is the major reason for part-time work
WIESBADEN – 16% of all persons in dependent employment pursued part-time work of 20 weekly hours or less in Germany in 2008. That was 4.9 million persons, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) on the occasion of Labour Day on 1st May.
