WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the index of producer prices for industrial products (domestic sales) for Germany fell by 4.6% in June 2009 from the corresponding month of the preceding year. This was the lowest year-on-year-rate since December 1968 (–5.0%). In May 2009, the annual rate of change was –3.6%.
