Federal Statistical Office grants 2009 Gerhard Fürst Award
WIESBADEN – For his diploma dissertation on “The influence of body height on wage level and choice of occupation: Current state of research and recent results based on the microcensus”, economist Fabian Spanhel of Ludwig Maximilians University Munich has been granted the 2009 Gerhard Fürst Award. For the eleventh time now, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) has granted that scientific award for outstanding scientific projects. The relevant award money is Euro 2,500.
