Import prices in November 2009: –5.0% on November 2008
WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the index of import prices decreased by 5.0% in November 2009 from the corresponding month of the preceding year. From October to November 2009 the index rose by 0.4%. The index of import prices, excluding crude oil and mineral oil products, was 6.9% below the level of a year earlier (no change compared to October 2009).
The index of export prices decreased by 1.7% in November 2009 from the corresponding month of the preceding year.
