WIESBADEN – The number of persons in employment in agriculture, forestry and fishing has decreased by 15.6% since 1998. This has been accompanied by growing specialisation of agricultural holdings and a decrease in the number of persons in employment in family farms. This has been reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) in Wiesbaden on the occasion of the International Green Week on the basis of results of the microcensus 2008.
