Telecommunications prices in 2009: –2.4% on an annual average compared to 2008
WIESBADEN – From a household perspective in Germany, the 2009 prices of telecommunications services regarding the fixed-line network, internet and mobile communications were again, on average, below the prices of the previous year. As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the consumer price index for telecommunications services – on an annual average of 2009 – was 2.4% below the 2008 level.
