2009: Gross earnings falling for the first time since the Federal Republic of Germany was founded
WIESBADEN – According to first results produced by national accounting at the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), average gross earnings of all employees in Germany fell by –0.4% to about Euro 27,648 in 2009.
