WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) based on provisional data, Germany exported commodities to the value of Euro 36.5 billion to the People’s Republic of China in 2009. Compared to 2008, exports to China were up 7% despite the world economic crisis. Total German exports declined 18.4% during that period.
