Retail turnover in Germany in June 2010: +3.1% in real terms to June 2009
WIESBADEN – According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), retail turnover in June 2010 in Germany increased 3.8% in nominal terms and 3.1% in real terms compared with the corresponding month in the previous year. The number of days open for sale was 26 in June 2010 and 25 in June 2009. When adjusted for calendar and seasonal variations (CENSUS-X-12-ARIMA), the June turnover was in nominal terms 1.1% and in real terms 0.9% smaller than that in May 2010.
