Agreed earnings up 2.1% from October 2010 to October 2011
WIESBADEN – Agreed monthly earnings of employees in Germany rose an average 2.1% from October 2010 to October 2011. As the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) further reports, the rate of increase of average agreed earnings had grown persistently against one month earlier since January 2011 (January 2011: 0.9%, April 2011: 1.5%, July 2011: 1.8 %). In October 2011, the increase in agreed earnings was above the 2% mark again for the first time since January 2010.
