Data for Germany

The United Nations 2030 Agenda comprises 17 goals, namely the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). A global indicator set was developed to monitor goal achivement. The Federal Statistical Office provided first national data for the global indicators in the context of Germany's report on the national implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda at the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in July 2016. The compilation of available national data is regularly updated and expanded.

To measure global SDG achievement, an international working group including the Federal Statistical Office developed a list of 232 global indicators (as of July 2017) to be filled with national data. The Inter-Agency and Expert Group on SDG indicators (IAEG-SDG) has been tasked with the review of the indicators and their further development.
