Germany’s most important trading partners 2016

In 2016 the top country of destination for German exports was the United States followed by France and the United Kingdom. Germany exported goods worth 106.9 billion euro to the United States, 101.4 billion euro to France and 86.1 billion euro to the United Kingdom.

Most of the goods imported to Germany originated from the People's Republik of China. The countries ranking second and third were the Netherlands and France. Germany imported goods worth 93.9 billion euro from China, 83.3 billion euro from the Netherlands and 65.6 billion euro from France.
