The estimated current market value of real property ownership in Germany was an average 103,600 euros per household at the beginning of 2013. This was a 7.5 % increase on 2008, when the average value had been 96,400 euros. When considering only the households actually owning real property, the average current market value rose from 236,100 euros in 2008 to 243,900 euros in 2013 (+3,3 %).
