The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) manages the Twitter channel @destatis. Through this channel, you can receive all press releases of the Federal Statistical Office the very day they are published. In addition, the social media team of the Federal Statistical Office keeps you up-to-date on current topics, ranging from the population and the economy to health and the environment.

But just as important for us as keeping you informed is entering into a dialogue and exchange of ideas with you.We look forward to your questions and suggestions and to having many topical discussions here.

Treating each other with respect is the basis of constructive dialogue. So please refrain from all insults, libel, slander or provocation. Vulgar, discriminating, racist, sexist, hateful and/or unlawful comments or those advocating violence are unacceptable. And please do not post any commercial content.
