WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities in the year 2016 increased by 0.9% in real terms and by 2.9% in nominal terms compared with the previous year.
The Index of Turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities decreased by 0.9 % in real terms and increased by 0.9 % in nominal terms in December 2016 compared with December 2015.
After adjustment for calendar and seasonal effects (Census X-12-ARIMA) the turnover in December 2016 was in real terms 1.5% and in nominal terms 1.4% smaller than that in the previous month.
