WIESBADEN – Based on the monthly and quarterly key data at hand for Germany, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) expects the numbers of passengers in public passenger transport by bus and rail to be up 1.8% and the air passenger numbers to be up 3.5% in 2016 on the previous year.
