WIESBADEN – In February 2017, the construction prices for conventionally constructed new residential buildings (construction work performed at the building; including turnover tax) in Germany were up 2.6% compared with February 2016. In November 2016, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the prices increased 2.2% on a year earlier. Compared with November 2016, the prices for residential buildings rose up 1.1% in February 2017.
Concerning non-residential buildings, in February 2017, the prices were up 2.7% for office buildings compared with February 2016. For industrial buildings the prices rose up 2.8%. For road construction the prices rose up 2.6% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
