WIESBADEN – Construction enterprises with more than 20 persons employed in Germany invested 3.7 billion euros in tangible fixed assets in 2016. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was an increase of around 530 million euros compared to the year 2015 (+16.7%). Higher investments in tangible fixed assets were last seen in the year 1996 (4.0 billion euros).
