WIESBADEN – In November 2017, the construction prices for conventionally constructed new residential buildings (construction work performed at the building; including turnover tax) in Germany were up 3.4% compared with November 2016. In August 2017, as reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the prices increased 3.1% on a year earlier. Compared with August 2017, the prices for residential buildings rose up 0.7% in November 2017.
Concerning non-residential buildings, in November 2017, the prices were up 3.7% for office buildings compared with November 2016. For industrial buildings the prices rose up 3.8%. For road construction the prices rose up 4.6% compared with the corresponding month of the preceding year.
