WIESBADEN – As reported by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities in the year 2017 increased by 0.9% in real terms and by 2.9% in nominal terms compared with the previous year.
The Index of turnover in the German accommodation and food service activities decreased by 1.3% in real terms and increased 0.9% in nominal terms in December 2017 compared with December 2016.
After adjusted for calendar and seasonal effects (Census X-12-ARIMA) the turnover in December 2017 was in real terms 1.8% and in nominal terms 1.5% smaller than in the previous month.
