WIESBADEN – In 2014, 19,000 of all persons registered as wage or income taxpayers in Germany had an income of at least one million euros, which was an increase of just under 1,600 taxpayers compared with 2013. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the average income of that group was 2.7 million euros.
