WIESBADEN – According to an evaluation of business notifications, roughly 63,600 businesses were started in the first half of 2018 whose legal form and number of employees suggest that they have greater economic importance. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was 4.3% less than in the first half of 2017.
