WIESBADEN – From 2014 to 2016 approximately 2,300 businesses relocated parts of their economic activities within Germany or abroad. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that these were 3.5% of the roughly 67,000 businesses with 50 employees and over in industry, trade and the service sector.
Most of the businesses concerned (approximately 1,200) relocated parts of their economic activities only within Germany.
