Retail turnover, August 2018
- -0.1% on the previous month (in real terms, calendar and seasonally adjusted, provisional)
- +0.3% on the previous month (in nominal terms, calendar and seasonally adjusted, provisional)
- +1.6% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, provisional)
- +3.3% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms, provisional)
WIESBADEN – According to provisional results of the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), the real (price-adjusted) turnover of the retail enterprises in Germany was 1.6% and the nominal (not price-adjusted) turnover 3.3% higher in August 2018 compared with August 2017. The number of sales days was 27 in each of these two months.
