WIESBADEN – In the period from January to September 2018, the number of people who lost their lives in traffic accidents increased by 23 to 2,443 (+1.0%) compared with the first nine months of 2017. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the number of people injured in road accidents increased by 0.8% to 297,400.
