WIESBADEN – In 2017, 129,692 women were treated for breast cancer in hospitals. To coincide with the World Cancer Day on 4 February 2019, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the number of women receiving cancer treatment declined by 11.9% compared with 2007.
