Press Meat production down 1.5% in 2018 on the previous year

WIESBADEN – The meat production of commercial slaughterhouses in Germany declined in 2018. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that, compared with the previous year, meat production decreased by 1.5% to a total of 8.0 million tonnes.
