WIESBADEN – 212 people died on German roads in January 2019, the number of fatalities was down by 21 from January 2018. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that roughly 25,200 people were injured in road traffic. This was a decline of 6.1%.
