WIESBADEN – Between January and April 2019, building permits were issued for constructing a total of 105,800 dwellings in Germany. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a 1.3% decline of building permits year on year. The permits referred both to new buildings and to work on existing buildings.
