WIESBADEN – Out of the total of just under 40 million employed internet users aged 16 or over, 16 million participated in continuing training activities in 2018 to improve their skills relating to the use of computers, software or applications. Based on results of the survey of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that they represented 39% of the employed internet users from the age of 16 upwards.
