WIESBADEN – To coincide with the High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development of the United Nations, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) from now on provides data for the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on a new online platform. The German data and metadata on global sustainable development are provided in an interactive environment on the national reporting platform. The data show the progress made in Germany regarding the sustainability goals of the United Nations. In addition to a variety of social, economic and ecological data, the platform contains the information published today on the number of people killed in road traffic in 2018, which is one of the indicators for the “health” goal.
