WIESBADEN – 50% of Germany's population used the internet to interact with public authorities and institutions in 2018. Based on results of the survey of the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in households, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the relevant proportion was 39% ten year earlier.
