WIESBADEN – German local courts reported 1,689 business insolvencies in April 2019. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was a 2.3% decline compared with April 2018.
The local courts reported that, in relation to the business insolvency requests, the prospective debts owed to creditors amounted to just under 1.7 billion euros in April 2019.
