WIESBADEN – The index of nominal earnings in Germany rose by 3.0% in the second quarter of 2019 on the same quarter a year earlier. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that consumer prices increased by 1.6% over the same period. The resulting real (price adjusted) growth in earnings amounted to 1.3%.
