WIESBADEN – "Potential and uses of geo-referenced data" is the topic of the 28th scientific colloquium, held at the Universitätsclub Bonn on 14 and 15 November 2019 and organised by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) in cooperation with the German Statistical Society (DStatG). "Geo-referencing provides a new dimension in official statistics as the basis for decision-making in the economic, political, social and scientific spheres" - this is the message of Dr. Georg Thiel, President of the Federal Statistical Office.
