WIESBADEN – The producer prices of services in Germany were up 1.3% in 2019 compared with 2018. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that producer prices increased at the same rate as in the previous year (2018 on 2017: +1.3%). In 2019, prices went up in most branches. The highest price increase was recorded for administrative and support service activities (+2.8%). Compared with the 3rd quarter of 2019, the producer prices of services rose only slightly in the 4th quarter of 2019 (+0.3%).
