WIESBADEN – In 2019, 28,200 students received a Germany Scholarship in accordance with the Scholarship Programme Act. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the number of scholarship holders rose by 3% compared with the previous year. Measured against the provisional total of students in the winter semester of 2019/2020, the proportion of those on a scholarship was 1%, as a year earlier.
