WIESBADEN – In 2019, German businesses bought a total of 840 tonnes of sulphur hexafluoride (SF6) from domestic gas traders. Sulphur hexafluoride is a greenhouse gas with an extremely strong impact on the climate. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a year-on-year increase of 7%.
