WIESBADEN – In 2019, a total of 694 million euros of financial assistance was available within the scope of the Upgrading Training Assistance Act. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that this was an increase of 28 million euros, or 4.2%, compared with 2018. Upgrading training assistance is financial support provided to participants in vocational upgrading training measures. It covers part of the costs of the training measure and of the living expenses.
