WIESBADEN - Where do most traffic accidents involving personal injury occur in my town or village? Were passenger cars, trucks, motorcycles, bicycles or pedestrians involved in the accident? These questions are answered by the interactive Accident Atlas of the statistical offices of the Federation and the Länder. An update containing accident data for 2019 is now available. Data from Nordrhein-Westfalen and Thüringen have been included for the first time. The Accident Atlas thus shows accident frequencies by road section and accident location in 15 Länder. The missing accident data from Mecklenburg-Vorpommern are expected to be included in the next update in summer 2021.
