WIESBADEN – The turnover in selected service branches decreased by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 12.4% in the 2^nd quarter of 2020 compared with the 1^st quarter of 2020. Based on provisional results, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that the adjusted turnover fell by 12.5% compared with the same quarter of the previous year. Compared with the 4^th quarter of 2019, the quarter before restrictions were imposed due to the corona pandemic, turnover was down by 13.8% (calendar and seasonally adjusted).
