WIESBADEN – The new federal public procurement statistics are launched today, on 1 October 2020. From now on, contracting authorities of all government levels (Federation, Länder, municipalities) will report data on contracts or concessions awarded by them to the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis), which has been commissioned by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy to compile public procurement statistics.
