WIESBADEN – In August 2020, 279 people died in road traffic accidents in Germany. Based on provisional figures, the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was a decline of 41 people compared with August 2019. The number of people injured fell by 6.1% to 34,100 in August 2020 year on year.
