WIESBADEN - In September 2020, the construction of a total of just under 29,700 dwellings was permitted in Germany. The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) also reports that this was an increase of 0.9% on September 2019. For January to September 2020, a 4.2% increase was recorded on the same period of the previous year. The figures include building permits issued for new buildings and for work on existing buildings.
