WIESBADEN – In the second week after the partial lockdown to contain the corona pandemic came into effect, average mobility in Germany went down another 2.6% from the previous week (Week 46, 2020 as compared with Week 45). An ad-hoc evaluation of experimental data by the Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) shows that in the two weeks from 2 to 15 November 2020 mobility was an average 8.8% below the previous year’s level.
