New orders in main construction industry, September 2020
+3.6% on the previous month (in real terms, seasonally and calendar adjusted)
+0.5% on the same month a year earlier (in real terms, calendar adjusted)
+4.9% on the same month a year earlier (in nominal terms)
WIESBADEN – The Federal Statistical Office (Destatis) reports that price-adjusted new orders in the main construction industry in September 2020 increased a seasonally and working-day adjusted 3.6% on August 2020.
In building construction and civil and underground engineering, in establishments of enterprises with 20 or more persons, new orders increased by 4.9% in nominal terms compared with the corresponding month of the previous year.
